Members are entitled to attend meetings, visits and the annual dinner. They receive a copy of the Journal issued during the session for which they have subscribed, and normally are also entitled to receive a copy of any Occasional Publication produced during that session without cost. Membership of the Society is open to individuals and institutions. Members may speak and vote at the Annual Business Meeting.

Subscriptions and other payments
Subscriptions are payable by the date of the second meeting of the session. New Members pay the current session’s subscription in full whatever the date of their admission. Subscriptions are payable in pounds sterling.
Subscription rates from 2018:
- £ 18 individual
- £ 12 student
- £ 25 Corporate
New or subscribing members can make annual subscription payments as follows:
- Standing order: to set up a standing order, please contact the Treasurer for details
- Cheque: to pay by cheque, download this form and send a completed copy with your cheque to the Treasurer at the address on the form.
